Delivery & Logistics Policy
Operational Standards for Dispatch and Fulfilment
This Policy governs the physical distribution and transfer of goods from Conkea.com Ltd to the Client.
By engaging our services, you acknowledge that our logistical obligations are fulfilled upon the successful handover of goods to our designated carriage partners.
01. Production Cycles & Dispatch Windows
1.1 Lead Times: All turnaround times quoted are estimates only and represent the time required for internal production.
These times do not include transit time.
Turnaround commences only upon final technical approval of artwork by our pre-press team.
1.2 The Midday Cut-Off: The production clock for any order starts the following working day if "Print-Ready" artwork is received after 12:00 PM GMT.
We do not operate production lines on Saturdays, Sundays, or UK Public Holidays.
Time of Performance
Conkea.com Ltd operates a high-volume manufacturing facility.
While we maintain a 98% on-time dispatch rate, time is not of the essence in this contract.
We shall not be liable for any penalty, loss of income, or secondary damages resulting from a delay in dispatch or delivery.
02. Geographic Scope & Exclusions
2.1 Service Areas: Conkea.com Ltd provides delivery services exclusively to Great Britain (UK Mainland) and Northern Ireland NI INCLUDED.
We operate a UK-centric logistics network and do not offer delivery to the Republic of Ireland or any other international territories.
2.2 Order Cancellations: Orders placed with a delivery address located in the Republic of Ireland or outside our service zone will be automatically cancelled.
These cancellations are subject to a 10% administrative processing fee to cover merchant transaction costs and file handling.
03. Transfer of Risk & Liability
3.1 Handover Protocol: All goods are sold on a "Delivered at Place" (DAP) basis to the kerbside of the provided address.
Legal risk and responsibility for the goods transfer from Conkea.com Ltd to the Client the moment the goods leave our Belfast facility and are scanned by the carrier.
3.2 Logistics Indemnity: Conkea.com Ltd utilises premium third-party couriers.
We are not liable for any acts, omissions, or failures of these third parties, including but not limited to: vehicle breakdowns, routing errors, "Missed Home" entries, or delays arising from sea-transit between our Belfast facility and the UK Mainland.
04. Proof of Delivery (POD) & Non-Receipt
4.1 Definitive Proof: A courier’s electronic signature capture, GPS geofencing data, or photographic "safe place" evidence shall be deemed absolute and definitive proof of successful delivery.
Conkea.com Ltd will not entertain "Non-Receipt" claims where such evidence is provided by the carrier.
4.2 Discrepancy Reporting: Any alleged shortage in the number of boxes delivered must be noted on the courier’s delivery manifest at the time of arrival.
Failure to record a shortage at the point of signature waives the Client’s right to a subsequent claim.
05. Failed Delivery & Redelivery Levies
5.1 Access Rights: It is the Client’s absolute duty to ensure clear access for a heavy goods vehicle or delivery van between 08:00 and 18:00.
If a delivery fails due to restricted access, closed premises, or the absence of an authorised signatory, the goods will be returned to our holding facility.
5.2 Storage & Re-Dispatch: In the event of a failed delivery, the Client is liable for a redelivery fee of ÂŁ15.00 plus any storage costs incurred at a rate of ÂŁ5.00 per day if the goods are not re-routed within 48 hours.
06. Damaged Goods & Transit Audit
6.1 The 24-Hour Window: If the external packaging appears compromised, the Client must sign for the goods as "DAMAGED".
High-resolution photographic evidence of the external box and internal contents must be emailed to our Belfast office within 24 hours.
Failure to comply with this audit window constitutes absolute acceptance of the goods in their current condition.
07. Force Majeure
Conkea.com Ltd is not liable for any delivery failure resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
This includes, but is not limited to: fuel shortages, industrial action within the courier network, severe weather affecting sea-freight, port disruptions, or civil unrest.
